Weapons-grade uranium transported by rail across Kazakhstan

UST-KAMENOGORSK, Kazakhstan Some 2,900 kilograms of highly enriched uranium (HEU), enough to make up to two dozen nuclear bombs, has been successfully transported by rail across Kazakhstan to be blended down for peaceful purposes, the government announced.
