Sonic blast and Gurkhas protect cruise liner from pirates

LONDON The pirates who attacked the Seabourn Spirit cruise liner off Somalia were up against a highly security-conscious target protected by advanced sonic technology and ex-military personnel, including former British Army Gurkha soldiers from Nepal.
